When I met Laura and Jeff a few months ago to discuss me being their wedding photographer, Laura had mentioned that she wanted to do her engagement photos in a Lavender field. So I immediately thought of Bonnieheath Lavender farm. It really does have it all when it comes to a venue that has both the photographer and the clients are looking for. There is a sprawling property with vineyards tall grasses filled with wildflowers, and of course the gorgeous, fragrant lavender. Anita and her husband do a fantastic job at making this full ecosystem thrive with life and beauty.

Laura and Jeff have a great spark! You can tell they laugh a lot together and share an intimate bond. It’s always the best part of my job to get people in front of the camera and watch their story unfold. I can see the years they have been together, the way they hold each other, the way she looks into his eyes. Love is a huge part of why I do this. People let you in and it’s an incredible thing to take part in.

Laura is a nurse and Jeff is a newly hired teacher! With those two professions comes a lot of stress. And these two have found the perfect outlet for that stress; laughter and lots of it! From the stolen kisses to the funny faces, they were both laughing pretty much the whole time. Except when they were channeling their inner runway models and rocking this lavender field shoot of course!

Bonnieheath Lavender farm will be a top choice for me whenever I have a couple who’s interested in the variety this winery \ lavender farm has to offer.
