how did you hear about me?

You're amazing!
I'm really looking forward to getting back to you
so we can chat about your
big day!!

What Kind of camera do you use?

I use a top of the line Canon full frame camera.  I specifically picked this camera body for its amazing capabilities, especially its ability to back up all the photos that are being taken to two separate memory cards.  I have heard too many horror stories of wedding photographers who have lost parts of the day to card failure.  This is actually another great reason to choose a package that includes two photographers!  That way there is even more protection for your special moments!  But all of this is really just worst case scenario, I have personally never experienced any sort of malfunction.

Should we meet?

I would really like too! There is a photographer out there for everyone, and I want you to be sure that I'm yours!
You're going to be spending a lot of time with me on your wedding day and I want to be sure that I'm the kind of person that gels with you, your family and friends.

How do we book?  And when is the remaining balance due?

To book all we need to do is have you sign your contract and send me 25% of the package total as a non-refundable retainer for your date.  Then we'll arrange for the remaining balance from your package to be paid no less than 30 days from your wedding date.  This is an industry standard and is a great way to avoid any business talk on the day of the wedding.  Then we can just focus on the day, and all the great memories happening!

Do you have back up gear?

I do!  on top of my primary camera that shoots to two memory cards at the same time, I also have another top of the line Canon camera to use as a backup so that if anything happens to my primary I am ready to go at a moments notice so I don't miss any key moments.  I also have backups of all my other gear as well flashes etc.  All of which is serviced and looked after to be sure its performing well.

Can we split up the days coverage?

Unfortunately no, if there is drive time between location, or downtime between the days milestones, then it all counts as part of your days coverage.  But to be really quite honest I have never run into ( out of the 150 weddings I have been apart of ) a day where there has been a lot of downtime.  If anything the day just flies by and the timeline is usually on the tight side!

Do we need the engagement session?

I get this one a lot, not everyone loves being in front of the camera more than they have to.  But I really love them!  Its a great way to elaborate on your love story.  We also get a chance to hang out and get to know each other a little more.  You get a feel for how I work behind the camera and you get a chance to know what its like to be in front.  I really find this helps the groom-to-be unwind in front of the camera for the wedding day!
