Caitlin and Graham love to canoe. What better place than Fanshawe Conservation area to take a spin around the lake? This is one of my favourite locations to go for engagement sessions. Especially when the couples are looking for a variety of green lush spaces.
Like most couples they expressed that they wanted to keep things light hearted. This is perfect for me because I love when a couple can just relax a little and be themselves. I mean obviously I love a beautiful elegant pose, but it’s no match for a genuine smile and tender embrace.
So we took a spin around the conservation area hitting up the tall pines lining the cross country skiing paths. This is one of my favourite features of the area. I’m a sucker for symmetry. lol.
I love to photograph the in between moments. Then you really get a chance to see how cute a couple can be when they don’t think anyone is watching. 🙂
After we made our way around to some of my favourite spots it was time to get a little more dressy!
Graham, always the gentlemen got the canoe ready to set sail.
This is my second engagement session with canoe’s and they do not disappoint. I think there is something so romantic about two people working together in a tiny little watercraft. Working towards their singular goal of not falling in the water. lol.
Styling your engagement session can be a great way to add a little flare to your love story! You can include a nice bouquet to compliment your dress. You can look at adding something personal to your story, like a canoe! Whatever it is, I am always looking to tell your love story the most fun, and unique way possible. I can’t wait for the next adventure out at Fanshawe Conservation area.
