Whistling Gardens Wedding | Tara & Alex | Wesley Forbes Photography

 

Whistling Gardens Botanical gardens is a beautiful location for a wedding.  Tara and Alex picked this venue due to the vast amount of plants, flowers and care that goes into the grounds.  Due to the late spring the flowers were not quite yet bloomed but we had a beautiful backdrop for our time together.  I could spend the whole day just walking around admiring the hard work that went into this incredible location.

Check out that bouquet!  Totally worthy of a botanical gardens wedding ceremony!

For their wedding Tara and Alex were joined by an intimate gathering of their friends and family. Where they came together to  celebrate a midday wedding ceremony.  Surrounded by the lush gardens and the welcome sun, it was a beautiful day!

Tara being a photographer herself knew that the creative bride and groom formals were very important to her on her wedding day.  She made sure we had lots of time together and we made use of the whole property.  Whistling Gardens offered up a wide variety of locations for us to just wander through at our leisure while we enjoyed the beautiful day, and the first hours of their  married life!

I’m looking forward to getting back to this venue in just a short amount of time.  I’ll be photographing a past wedding couples maternity photos out there!  I just love getting to follow along on my couples’ journeys!
