A Beautiful Winery Inspired Engagement In Niagara On The Lake.

I’ve known Kate for almost a decade.  So when I heard that her and Tom had gotten engaged I was so excited to be asked to take their engagement photos.  Kate has been a wine rep for several years now so we of course chose to take their photos out at the Jackson Triggs Winery in Niagara.  They also brought along their two fur babies.  One was a recent rescue from south America.  Both pups were so well behaved and  as always a welcome addition to any session!

• Pro tip!  Have a family friend come along so they can puppy sit for the remainder of the session after we’re done including them!

Kate and Tom were quick to warm up to the camera.  I think that a few glasses of champagne provided by the hosts didn’t hurt.  😉

Niagara is known for all their amazing winery’s.

Jackson Triggs is no exception!  They allowed us full rein pf their property for the session.  We of course made use of the incredible vineyard but we also headed indoors for some truly unique photo opportunities!  The large cast iron wine vats, the barrel room in the basement, all incredible backdrops for Kate and Toms love story.

Kate told me while we were shooting together that the bachelor is a huge favourite for the two of them. So we were sure to include some romantic touches like strawberries and champagne.  There may have even been a rose ceremony!  lol.  Hint * she picked Tom.
