A great couple and an amazing venue!  The Art Gallery Of Hamilton, Ontario or the AGH as the cool kids call it,  is a stunning venue for a couple looking for a central location in Hamilton.

I first met Alisha 5 years ago photographing at her sisters wedding right up the road at the Scottish rite in Hamilton.  It was my very first solo wedding!!  I have been lucky to have photograph at several of Hamiltons most unique wedding venues including the spice factory.

Alisha has an eye for style, as a re-designer and avid DIY up cycles, I just knew that this was going to be a gorgeous wedding!  I wasn’t to be disappointed, the ceremony and reception area were done all in Chic whites.   With a splash of spring vibrancy and a touch of tropical love.  Palm fronds are just my favourite!

Alisha and Dan were such a fun and laid back couple.  They wanted to focus on all the candid moments from the day.  For them the day was more about all their family and friends having a great time in celebrating their love.  And celebrate they did!  The laughter and love was everywhere throughout the day.  Friends mingling with family, it was if everyone had know each other for a long time.

The Art Gallery Of Hamilton,

has some really unique opportunities to photograph the couples in.  The main art galleries are off limits due to copy right infringement.  But that didn’t stop us from finding some amazing features in the public parts of the museum to use.  Also the surrounding area offers many great options.  We had really lucked out weather wise as well.  It was a bit cold, but Alisha and Dan were troopers and stuck it out to get some great photos of the two of them!

While I am so happy with all the venues and areas that London offers, getting a chance to stretch my creative wings and head to locations and areas that I haven’t yet been too is always so much fun!  And a great couple doesn’t hurt either 😉
