One of the most romantic venues in London Ontario is the Old Courthouse.  It was the perfect wedding venue for Ally and Scott. Having all their closest friends and family celebrate the next step in their love story.  I personally love this venue so much.  Southern Ontario has so many great wedding venues.  But having a gem like this, so close to home is an amazing treat.  You get the old world charm with the architecture, along with the professional services provided from their staff.

I first met Ally and Scott a few years ago, after a brief email exchange, and a beer at East Side Marios ( hey bada-boom-bada-bing ) we knew that we were the right fit for each other.  They were the easy going, hilarious, good natured people that I dream of.  Meeting amazing people, and quickly knowing that I have met some new friends is the best part of my job!

Ally and Scott’s day started off with what you’d expect, friends, laughter and bunch of groomsmen in their underwear drinking beers.  Sorry,  I have omitted those photos.  Their children may see this blog in a few years!  lol.  Here are some beautiful photos of Ally getting ready instead 😉

Scott shared a letter with Ally to read before their ceremony.  I always love when couples do this.  It can be such an emotional moment when a partner reads words of encouragement, loving sentiments or some hilarious inside jokes!  Judging by Ally’s expression I think it was some hilarious inside jokes!  I just know that they couldn’t wait to see each other at the Courthouse.

Those laughs didn’t stop there.  It was an all day occurrence.  These two were at it all day!  The ceremony, during their bride and groom formals. I think my cheeks hurt at the end of the day from smiling so much.

And we managed to sneak in some beautiful photos for the albums too.

These two are so lucky to have an amazing bunch of friends in their lives!  Such a fun group.

That Golden Hour!

This is the kind of light I dream of for every couples wedding day!  It’s magical!

I am so excited to see what this year has to bring, but I’ll consider myself lucky if it brings more amazing couples like Ally and Scott.  And more amazing wedding days at The Old Courthouse in London.
