What a super fun day I had with Mike and Julia!  It was a perfect snowy day out at Fanshawe Conservation area.  If you live in London and you haven’t been, you really must!  If you’re like me and you love the outdoors and a great trail, then this place is for you!

We encountered a few people out cross country skiing and they were even nice enough to let us know about trail etiquette.  AKA, don’t walk in their ski tracks.  lol.  Well know I know.

We started our time together with a nice warm cup of tea.  Juli and Mike are big fans of the warm comfort drink and I thought it would be a great way to warm the belly before we set off on our adventure.  They brought along a gift that was given to them at their wedding shower, these really cute Mr & Mrs mugs!  I just love them.   After we had a warm beverage, we set out along the tall pine tree trails, some of the best in London for sure!  I will be heading back there for sure.  Scroll below to see some of my favourite engagement sessions so far this year!

After we spent some time exploring one of London hidden photography location gems, we made our way further into London, to Storeybook gardens for a skate date!   Mike and Julia were just so cute skating along the path way, holding hands as the sun set on us.  Christmas lights along the path, it was a great way to end a really perfect day.  I can’t wait to see them again for their wedding day at the St. Mary’s Golf and country club.   Until then there are lots more amazing shoots coming up in the next few months!  Arizona for a wedding in the spring and a lot more beautiful weddings taking place at some of the best venues that London, and Southern Ontario have to offer.
